We start with Merced River gravel
The majority of our paydirt uses Merced River gravel. It has high mineralization, plenty of natural black sand and a small chance of random wild gold. The Merced at one time was a very very rich placer river. We either unload the truck onto tarps, or sometimes we fill bulk bags.
We bring the dirt inside
Fill bags
Put the full bags on shelves
Weigh out the gold
Then we put the gold in the bags
And finally ship it off to you!
